How to Order Stone Veneer: Sample, Pallet Size, Pickup or Delivery
What happens from the moment you pick a stone until it is on your wall: sample approval, pallet sizes, pickup in Olathe or delivery, payment and timing.

Buying stone veneer is simple once you know the steps. Here is exactly how an order works with us, from the first look at the catalog to the stone on your wall.
1. Pick a style and a color
Start in the stone catalog. Filter by style (ledge, field stone, Timberledge, thin brick…) or by tone (light, warm, dark). Want to see it bigger? The Stone Studio shows the stone on a house before you buy.
Every stone we sell works indoors and outdoors, so choose by the look you want.
2. Approve a sample
Screens change colors, and stone has natural variation. That is why every order needs an approved sample before we confirm it. Once the sample is approved, the stone is non-refundable, so take your time with this step: look at it in daylight, next to your roof, trim or floor.
3. Choose the pallet size
We sell every stone by ¼ pallet, ½ pallet or full pallet. Measure your walls first (our guide How Much Stone Veneer Do You Need? takes ten minutes) and send us the numbers if you are not sure how many pallets to order.
Tip: order everything for the same wall at once. Colors can shift a little between production runs, and one order keeps the wall consistent.
4. Pickup or delivery
- Pickup at our yard in Olathe, Kansas (19965 W 162nd St).
- Delivery: we ship stone to the entire country. The delivery cost is quoted when we confirm your order.
Plan for the weight: our stone is about 7 lb per square foot.
5. How you pay
No payment is taken online. We confirm stock, delivery and your total, and then you pay by cash, check, money order or Zelle.
Want it installed?
We also install, up to 700 miles from Kansas City. Most jobs start one or two weeks after approval, depending on the size of the project. Ask for a free quote for stone and installation, or send us a photo of your wall on WhatsApp.
